Hverfell Volcano

Volcano Hverfell is located in northern Iceland near Lake Myvatn and southwest of Dimmu Borgir. This volcano that measures 430 meters high has a giant crater that measures 1 km in diameter. The Hverfell was formed 2,500 years ago and from the top you see the whole lake and the so-called pseudo craters. You can go by car to the base of the volcano and then climb to the top which takes about 15 minutes. You can also take a walk around the volcanic cone.
