Huntly

Excellent

Situated along the river Deveron, Huntly town (on the border between Aberdeenshire and Moray) is famous for several reasons: for its salmon, for being the birthplace of the famous pastry Dean (one of the manufacturers most famous shortbread) but especially for its castle, officially one of the most haunted in Scotland, fame that stretches the entire village. Today, is a town of about 5,000 inhabitants. It is a charming town, that is very traditional, and certainly worth visiting. It is the perfect place to enjoy a weekend visit because the nearby towns are beautiful as well. Within the center, we came across the best parking options, the tourist information, city hall and the most relevant of the people, including the road to the castle, one of the most famous in the area.
