Castle
Hunedoara is a city west of Sibiu and is famous for its castle, which belonged to the Huniade dynasty. The castle is the country's largest Gothic castle. It was the royal citadel of the Huniade for centuries, but is now in very poor condition. Besides the castle, the city offers very little. I liked the neighborhood Rom on the outskirts of town where the most rejected people of Romanian society built incredible mansions. There are currently 80,000 people in Hunedoara. The center isn't the nicest because there are many factories and industrial buildings. For children there is a zoo with lions and wolves, and there are several nice villages nearby, as well as the Cincis artificial lake.
