Huaripampa Ravine

The Santa Cruz trek passes through two of the most beautiful gorges of the Cordillera Blanca, the Huaripampa and Santa Cruz. We began the trek together, so on the second day we toured all Huaripampa broken up to Punta Union, which is the highest point of the trek, at 4,750 meters altitude, and there is a dividing stream. Huaripampa Clough has spectacular scenery and the beautiful snow protrudes at the bottom. Everything is full of vegetation and there are hundreds of green tones that make the place seem to be out of a movie. I always felt like I was in the land of the Hobbits. It isn't difficult because the signs are easy to read.

The increases are prolonged as they don't come too frequently. The only step more complicated is when you start to climb the Punta Union, it is not technical but it is pending and costs because you have to be up about two hours. The gorge is full of creeks and streams in which you can drink water, the only thing we recommend is that you take a pill to purify it as a precaution.
