House of Cid - Arias Gonzalo Palace
At one end the walls of Zamora, attached to the Bishop's Gate neighborhood, this historic building is known as Casa del Cid. Also called Gonzalo Arias Palace (governor Zamora), because it received characters to educate the children of Fernando I. It is a palatial building, built in the eleventh or twelfth century ashlar, which highlights the gateway formed by a semicircular arch, and windows with horseshoe arches.
