The Vine, a divine hotel

The Vine Hotel is next level wonderful. Its not surprising that in 2013, it was named World's Leading Design Hotel. Its 79 rooms are tastefully furnished, each in its own way. I stayed in 202, with a huge massage waterfall, shower, and bath. The beds are very large and comfortable, with lights operated from them by an electrical panel, like the blinds. But, apart from the rooms, The Vine offers a stunning rooftop pool overlooking Funchal. In fact, it has two pools, one normal, and one with whirlpool jets. The latter is ideal for sunset dipped to 24 degrees. The hotel also has a small, closed spa (enough to relax for a while), gym, dining area, and separate restaurant.
