Tis Hotel is in the Vila de Castro Laboreiro in Portugal and a half hour from Melgaço within the natural park of Peneda Gerês. Here is where you can eat the best "bacalhao com broa" in the entire world, as states on a board outside, as well as other dishes, with good wines of which I recommend the "Duas Quintas". You can enjoy its wonderful views, in a natural setting with a deep valley and the ruins of Castro on top. The service is great and the staff and the owner are so nice. Value for money is excellent. It also has rooms. Perfect for a weekend of trying fantastic gastronomy and hiking.
