Having lunch or dinner at the Hotel Juan II is a must if you're passing through Toro. The specialty is the lamb (18 €), but I always order the John II clams (17 €), or prawns with garlic (you'll be amazed for only 11 €). One unique feature this hotel has is its large wine reference. Although it's a bit outdated, there are wines at unbeatable prices here, such as an Almirez from the Iguren Bodegas for only 18 €.
