Fairmont Le Montreux Palace hotel

If I put the Fairmont Hotel in the category "What to Do" and not "Where to Sleep", it's because I just can't afford to stay in one of the 236 rooms in this palace! But I still got to appreciate the Fairmont, which was better than the modern Best Western. The building has the grandeur of the Belle Epoque palaces, with art noveau balconies and shutters. It has luxurious shops offering the most exclusive brands: Rolex, Cartier ... on the other side of the street is the Willow Stream Spa, with a private park by the lake.
