A cultural and artistic center
The Espace Saint Louis is a cultural and artistic center in the historic district of Avignon. It was built near the Palace of the Popes in Avignon, initially founded by a Jesuit novitate as a religious building. It's quiet, with a sixteenth century cloister. Over the years, the building was secularized and became a military hospital and nursing home. After the great renewal of the 90s, it reopened as a hotel and cultural centre.
