A hotel full of history
Although I have not been staying in this hotel, as it's quite old, I have had a drink on the terrace before, and it is very nice. I heard about this place because some friends I met travelling asked a guide where it was. I asked why they were so interested and really it is a hotel steeped in history. It has hosted famous people such as Lawrence of Arabia, and they have kept his bill and photograph in a glass case, also Agatha Christie, who wrote part of a novel there, Ataturk, Charles DeGaulle, the Roosevelts and many others.
