Hotel America

This hotel is a great option if you're looking for some peace and quiet. It's located in the district of Visnjik, in the hills surrounding the city (but don't worry: it's low on the hill, so you can reach the historic centre by a ten minute walk). The hotel is great, with clean, spacious rooms. From some of them, you can enjoy a beautiful view over all the rooftops of the city. Breakfast is abundant, and the staff are very friendly (though they don't speak much English, they are excellent at communication). Opposite the hotel is a small cemetery, which might seem jarring, but it's a way of getting used to the unique urban landscape of Sarajevo, where it's normal to find small graveyards between large buildings.
