Irukina
A good choice
On July 14, this restaurant opened in the Koenji neighbourhood. It appears to be the first in a chain that will start spreading around Tokyo, and perhaps Japan. It is a wok concept. While you wait to be served, you can see the food being prepared in different woks. Although it seems to have a small menu, there's plenty of variety as the menu is fully customizable. You can choose noodles or rice noodles, a sauce from a selection of at least 10, and a main ingredient from a wide selection. I liked it, although it's a little expensive for a low-end Japanese restaurant. Still, I paid 1100 yen for a medium-sized wok portion with prime beef and a glass of tea.
