Veníamos de Lora del Río, de hacer fotos, y la noche nos cogió llegando a Utrera, así que paramos en el primer alojamiento que vimos. Este Hostal Restaurante de dos estrellas está en un polígono industrial en la entrada de la ciudad, con mucho aparcamiento al lado por lo que nos fue sencillo decidirnos. Dejamos el coche y nos dirigimos a la entrada, estaba cerrada y recurrimos al telefonillo. Serían, calculo, las nueve más o menos de la noche. A través del telefonillo preguntamos si tenían alguna habitación libre y nos preguntaron cómo la queríamos y el tiempo que pensábamos estar. Una vez aclarado el tema nos abrieron y subimos por una escalera. En el piso superior nos atendió una señora, aquí la recepción es también la vivienda de los propietarios. Su marido finalmente nos dio la llave de la habitación, mientras su mujer atendía a la hija, recién llegada. Fuimos a la habitación y soltamos la maleta de mano. La habitación algo pequeña, aunque daba directamente a la calle. Tendría de ancho como unos cinco metros por ocho de largo, aunque en un lateral era más ancha y allí habían acoplado un cuarto de baño. El problema es que las camas miraban hacia el cuarto de baño por lo que era necesario tener corrida la mampara. Tenía una bañera de tamaño mini y no tenía secador, por lo demás todo correcto. Enfrente mismo de las camas estaba la televisión, también pequeña aunque funcionaba perfectamente y tenía integrada la TDT por lo que más tarde pudimos ver algo de deportes. Pero antes nos fuimos a cenar algo. El restaurante de este hostal estaba cerrado pero enfrente tiene una venta donde nos pusimos bien a base de solomillo y montaditos. Al otro lado de la acera hay un centro comercial con un buffet libre chino donde entraremos otro día, cuando vayamos a hacer fotos de la zona. De vuelta encontramos a la familia, excepto la señora que estaba limpiando en la recepción, en plena calle, tomando el fresco delante de una televisión de plasma y picoteando. Nosotros les saludamos y subimos a la habitación donde estuvimos viendo la tele hasta que nos dormimos. Por la mañana, serían las siete más o menos, nos fuimos intentando hacer poco ruido pero a través del telefonillo la señora nos saludó, luego están atentos. La llave ya nos dijeron que la dejáramos dentro de la misma habitación y el pago fue por adelantado. Importante reseñar que el aire acondicionado funciona a las mil maravillas. En esta época donde pasamos con frecuencia de los 40º casi cada día no te puedes alojar en un hotel que no tenga un buen aire acondicionado. El de este hostal permitía bajar de los 25º que tanto recomiendan en la tele los que no tienen calor. Otro detalle curioso es que controlan la televisión desde recepción porque al amanecer no era posible encenderla, esto evita problemas cuando a algún niño le da por ponerla a altas horas de la madrugada y tiene que venir el personal a pedirte que no molestes más a otros clientes. Me ha pasado en otro sitio, aquí sería imposible. Por lo demás, salvo la pequeñez de la habitación y la falta de ascensores, el Hostal me pareció muy correcto. Son sólo 45 euros por una habitación doble con todo el equipamiento incluido, como por ejemplo wifi gratuito y el trato es familiar y directo dado que los propietarios residen en el mismo. Para otra vez que necesite alojamiento por esta zona creo que repetiré.
