Hostal Colonial

Three blocks from the boardwalk and 10 minutes from Playa Grande, is the Hostal Colonial. It is located in a refurbished colonial house. It's a pleasant place, with spacious rooms which are basic but very comfortable with hot water and a fan. The communal areas are nice and have free WIFI, the signal in the rooms is not very strong. Reasonably priced at 100 bolivars for a double room with ensuite bathroom. As we changed our currency in Buenos Aires (Piano House) at 6 bolivars per $1, it cost us less than $20. It also has a small restaurant where you can eat or have a drink.
