A lovely atmosphere
This is a restored sixteenth century monastery, and most of the rooms are still part of the former seminary where monks once slept. The furniture is simple and austere; don't expect the latest modern comforts! The atmosphere is lovely, though, with a touch of the Middle Ages. The location is great: very central and right in front of the Cathedral of Santiago. The entrance opens onto the square of the Immaculate Conception. Prices are moderate, as it is aimed at pilgrims. The dining room is outstanding, and offers very affordable meals to pilgrims.
