Hornindalsvatnet
The Hornindalsvatnet Lake is the deepest lake in Europe, being 514 meters deep and located 53 meters above sea level, if you do the adding up you see that over 70% of the lake is below sea level. You can tour the lake along the road that goes around it, the E39 passes through the town of Mogrenda, not visible across the lake since the lake occupies an area of 50 square kilometers, but you see some of it.
