Watson Bay Lighthouse

Around 1850 years there were several shipwrecks off the coast of Watson Bay, where many sailors lost their lives. In the year 1857, after two new shipwrecks, which I only survived a sailor, was the need to create a great beacon that would prevent the boats on the close of these rocky shores. The lighthouse, become historic monument, inaugurated in 1858, and according could read in their explanatory signs, was this sailor who survived the shipwreck last, who was the first official lighthouse keeper.
