Homenaje A Alberto Contador

Si estás en la localidad de Barcarrota o simplemente pasar por ella por la carretera principal tendrás la oportunidad de ver un conjunto escultórico realizado en metal que te llamará la atención. Se trata de un homenaje al ciclista Alberto Contador. Toda la familia del ciclista es natural de Barcarrota por lo que han querido rendirle homenaje por su labor deportiva durante los últimos años a través de varias figuras representativas relacionadas con la bicicleta. No solo se encuentran representaciones emulando a ciclistas de competición, también se pueden ver figuras de monociclos antiguos, tandems y bicicletas de paseo. El conjunto escultórico en homenaje a Alberto Contador fue levantado a mediados del 2010 gracias a los alumnos de la Escuela Adelardo Corvasí y podrás encontrarlos a ambos lados de la carretera. No te lo pienses... merece una pequeña parada!!
