Traditional central European village
This small town, a World Heritage Site since 1998, is an example of the traditional central European village that has kept its original layout dating back to the Middle Ages. Around the pond in the center of the town square are 22 houses with baroque facades, all of them have back gardens that date back to the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries and whose style is known as the "rural Baroque South Bohemia ".
