Ho Chi Minh City Museum

El museo Ho Chi Minh City Museum es, bajo mi punto de vista, una de las estrellas de Saigón (Ho Chi Minh City). EL EDIFICIO El edificio del museo, de estilo neoclásico, fue diseñado por el arquitecto francés Foulhoux y construido en 1886. La belleza de este Museo hace que sea uno de los lugares preferidos por los recién casados para hacerse fotografías preciosas. El primer uso del edificio fue como museo comercial; después fue la sede del Gobernador tras la revolución de Agosto (25 Agosto de 1945); más adelante fue la residencia del alto comisionado francés; el siguiente uso que se le dio al edificio fue el de Palacio del Gobernador del Sur (Gia Long Palace de Ngo Dinh Diem); durante el régimen de Nguyen Van Thieu fue Corte Suprema; y finalmente el People’s Comitte de Saigón (Ho Chi Minh City) decidió usarlo como Museo de la Revolución. HISTORIA DE VIETNAM EN EL SIGLO XX Las salas principales del museo, en la primera planta, muestran la rebelión del pueblo vietnamita contra los franceses primero y contra los americanos después. Dentro de esas rebeliones se muestra el nacimiento y evolución del Partido Comunista. Esta planta del museo sirve para aprender mucho acerca de la historia de Vietnam en el siglo XX. Esta planta resulta muy instructiva gracias a sus numerosas explicaciones muy amplias así como diversos documentos, recortes de diarios, artilugios utilizados en las guerras o fotos importantes. Una de las fotos más importantes es la del monje Thich Quang Duc, que viajó desde Hue a Saigón para quemarse a lo “bonzo” en 1963 hasta morir, para protestar contra las políticas del presidente de Vietnam del Sur Ngo Dinh Diem. Así como el Museo de la Guerra nos muestra la guerra de Vietnam focalizándose tan sólo en lo que los americanos hicieron y en los efectos consecuentes, en el Museo de Ho Chi Minh City nos muestran la historia vista desde dentro de Vietnam, además de abarcar un periodo de tiempo mucho más amplio. HO CHI MINH CITY (SAIGÓN) En la planta baja se puede observar en la primera sala la evolución de la ciudad de Saigón (Ho Chi Minh City), con gráficos y fotografías. En otra sala se muestra la evolución de las técnicas utilizadas en artesanía, agricultura, fabricación, etc., en Saigón y alrededores. Una de mis salas preferidas es la que muestra la evolución económica de Ho Chi Minh City y alrededores, especialmente la de sectores principales como el textil, el calzado, … BODAS En la misma planta baja hay una pequeña sala destinada a las bodas o matrimonios en Vietnam. Se explican cuales son los pasos que se dan en los matrimonios en el sur de Vietnam.. Se muestran tanto las variaciones que se han dado en el tiempo como las diferencias que hay para cada grupo étnico o para cada religión. Además de las explicaciones hay una espectacular colección de trajes de boda de cada época o grupo étnico o religión. EXPOSICIÓN TEMPORAL En el momento en el que visité el Museo había una interesante exposición titulada “Tay Nguyen Culture”. Consistía en una colección recopilada por Nguyen Van Hai. Tay Nguyen son las “Central Highlands” de Vietnam. Se muestran fotografías de los rituales que siguen estas minorías étnicas siguiendo el calendario lunar y el círculo de la vida. También se muestran diferentes artefactos de la vasta herencia material de Festivales, Gong Art, etc.. OTRAS COSAS A VER En el sótano del museo se pueden observar pasillos y bunkers blindados que estaban, en su momento, comunicados con el Palacio de la Reunificación. En los jardines del museo se puede ver un tanque soviético y un helicóptero US Huey UH-1. HORARIO Y PRECIO El horario de apertura es de 8 a.M. A 4 p.M. La entrada son 15.000 Dóngs (unos 0,6 €) y el parking para la moto son 3.000 Dóngs.

Véritable héros du Vietnam, le musée Ho Chi Minh, situé à quelques centaines de mètres du mausolée homonyme est un véritable temple à la gloire de l’ancien chef d’état du Vietnam. Bien que l’entrée soit gratuite, ce musée est tout sauf cheap. Des documents sont disponibles en français, en anglais et en vietnamien pour retracer l’histoire de l’homme en parallèle à l’Histoire du Vietnam dans de grandes fresques parfois très allégoriques plus parlantes que tous les livres d’Histoire. Ce musée est un monument de culture empli de poésie. Une visite s’impose !

Dentro de un gran palacio y en la "zona noble" de la ciudad, por aprnas 15000 dong, menos de un euro, puedes conocer en un rato la historia de las revoluciones locales. Que no son pocas. Si además da la casualidad de que lo visitas el dos de septiembre, fecha de celebración de la ciudad de Ho Chi Minh, todavía se convierte en algo más especial

Realmente hay que tener mucha paciencia y tiempo si pretendemos visitar la tumba del Tio Ho, como se lo conocía, a los turistas el tiempo nos falta y las colas de espera son larguísimas y muy lentas, así que lo que conviene es visitar el museo, que es mucho más ameno.

Le musée de Ho Chi Minh Ville était anciennement appelé Revolutionary Museum. Un intéressant musée qui donne un aperçu de l'évolution de la ville, et résume une importante partie de la révolution de 1945. A l'extérieur sont exposés des modèles d'avions et hélicoptères. Le bâtiment en lui-même, d'inspiration néo-classique, mérité le coup d'oeil. Attention ce musée ne fait pas partie de la commune liste des sites visités lors des "city tours" organisés par les agences. L'entrée coûte 15 000dongs.
