Lord Nelson's ship in Trafalgar
The HMS Victory is one of the historic vessels that can be visited in Portsmouth harbour in what is considered its Historic Dockyard. The boat is symbolic because it was part of the British navy, under the command of Admiral Nelson, when the navy defeated the Spanish Armada at Trafalgar in 1805. Admiral Nelson himself died in battle, becoming a national hero. The exact place where he died is marked with a plaque. The visit is certainly worth it. There aren't many 18th century ships still in existence. The ship was in service for about 34 years, now it plays a ceremonial role in Portsmouth. After
