The Ecuadorian city of Santa Ana de los Ríos de Cuenca is also known as Cuenca. It is located in the south of Quito in the Andes and was added to UNESCO's list of World Heritage of Humanity sites in 1999. It illustrates the renaissance in Latin America and its colonial cities.
