Historic Centre of Cienfuegos

You cannot deny that Cienfuegos is one of the most beautiful cities in Cuba, and its historic center was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 2005. Certainly you cannot it as a colonial city still used, as can be said of Havana or Trinidad. The layout of Cienfuegos is one typical of a city which was planned in the nineteenth century, so the streets are grids and buildings are examples of the neoclassical architecture of the time.
