A church with views of the Rhodope Mountains
The 3 hills on which lies the old town of Plovdiv were settled by the Thracians in the 5th millennium BC. According to legend it was located on 7 hills, but it seems that it was only 3, and if not, on Trimontium, as it was known in Roman times. From here we see the Rhodope Mountains and the river Maritsa. We discovered a tiny church with a bell tower with great views. This church was named Sveta Paraskeva.
