Hiking in Tetebatu
Although the beaches of Lombok or the nearby Gili Islands will engage you an leave you with an almost inability to leave. It is certainly an excursion not to be missed. The Tetebatu hiking seems almost like something out of the Amazon jungle, where you can cool off in small waterfalls or try the precarious balance rope bridges and rotten wood ... (I was pretty scared going over the bridge ...) Tetebatu is located on the southern slopes of Gunung Rinjani, about 11 km north from the main road to the center of the island. Your best bet is to hire a car with driver, and once there, you'll find guides that take you to find the best spots.
