A Beautiful Village in the Mountains

Excellent

Heiligenblut is a beautiful town in the mountains, in the valley of Moll, in the region of Carinthia. For centuries it's been a popular pilgrimage because the Church keeps a relic of the supposed blood of Christ. The story goes that a Templar Knight named Briccius brought it there from Constantinople. Hence the name, Heiligenblut, meaning holy blood. The village has tracks to do all kinds of winter sports like skiing, sledding, ice skating, snowshoeing, and even ice climbing.
