Hassan Mosque

En esta mezquita vivimos uno de esos momentos mágicos que surgen de repente cuando estás viajando. Estábamos en la puerta, ya casi iba a atardecer y empezó el canto del imán, nos quedamos embobados escuchando y contemplando la vista que hay de la mezquita de alabastro desde lo alto de la entrada de la mezquita....una pasada. La Mezquita se encuentra en frente de la entrada de la ciudadela y es una de las más altas de todo Egipto, cuenta la historia (muchas veces oida) de que le cortaron la mano al arquitecto para que no volviera a crear nada de igual grandeza (mala profesión la de arquitecto por aquellos tiempos, la cantidad de puentes que habría dejado de construir Calatrava).

In this mosque live one of those magical moments that suddenly arise when you are traveling. We were at the door, and would almost sunset and began chanting the magnet, we were spellbound listening and watching the view about the alabaster mosque from the top of the entrance of the mosque .... awesome. The mosque is located in front of the entrance to the citadel and is one of the highest in all of Egypt, tells the story (often oida) that cut off his hand to the architect for not re-create anything of equal greatness ( bad profession of architect in those days, the number of bridges that would have to build Calatrava).
