It is a great experience
Hangzhous is famous for its enormous size, with the city on one side and mountains on the other. In total, it measures about 16 km all the way round, and it is a great experience. The YHA hostel is located at the edge of something, with a very young staff that speak English. The hostel is not much, but its location makes up for it. It has a beautiful terrace if the weather is good, although the winters are cold and hard. Curiously, on the same lake there is a Starbucks cafe, my refuge in China when I wanted to escape the smoke snuff and have a coffee.
