Ramen and the cotton candy machine

The Hamatora is situated in Hiyoshi and is the most interesting ramen restaurant that I went to during my trip to Japan. They have a different style of ramen, using a lot of vegetables and they are famous for being quite healthy (unlike the tonkotsu, or Shouyu iekei due to its high levels of saturated fat). The paste is green, and the taste of the soup is not too strong. But surely the strangest thing about this restaurant is ... that they have a cotton candy machine that you can use for free! This is surely a tactic to tempt customers, since virtually no other place has something so peculiar and customers often remember Hamatora ramen for its free machine cotton candy, rather than for their ramen.

The quality of the photos is bad, my camera battery went flat but, as you can see, they use more vegetables and are healthier. But I'll upload more photos when I go back on my next visit to Japan, because I will surely come back to this ramen place.
