To eat like a king
Huamantla is a town located in the state of Tlaxcala and it is considered a magical town. It is well located as it has easy access by either bus of car. The town is quiet, and to walk through its streets is magical. There you can visit the bullfighting museum (free ) and the puppets museum ($ 20pesos) which is incomparable to others. The town museum enhances the customs of the people from sawdust mats to their artists such as Charles (of the academy) and shows you things you would have never thought, it is a must visit and the Admission is free. The church visits are another encounter with the colonial life, which shows customs like the night that no one sleeps all night.
For lovers of Mexican food there is the Soltepec which serves everything from the inlet to soups, I ate the stuffed chicken breast with squash blossom pulque sauce, it was delicious and Im still craving more now. The price is a bit higher than usual but it is well worth it. Also there is a farm where you can stay overnight as it also is a hotel, or you can request a tour of the ranch, where you will hear references to the history of the place. It's well worth visiting and the food is scrumptious.
