Guinness Lake
Upon arrival the Wicklow Mountains National Park, which is close to Dublin and offered by many tourist companies, you really feel like you are looking at something very unique. Upon arrival, you should focus your visit on the banks because the water actually seems to be black. If that seems a huge pint of Guinness when you see it because it's really dark. It can also be very pleasing to see the surrounding forests and grasslands with different shades ranging from ocher to gray over the rocks. The views from the highest area of the lake are spectacular. There are many lovely spots to sit down and enjoy the surroundings.
And do not forget, if you are fond of hiking travel the roads that are in the area and the park, which was recommended Irish friends. Curiously dark color comes from the iron containing water and in the Middle Ages were invited women to drink this water because it was highly recommended for pregnancy. You won't see many cars nor people. You really are in nature and there is nothing to disturb the tranquility and sense of relaxation that pervades the area.
