Guildford

Guildford is a town of 70,000 inhabitants in the south of England with a rich and varied history. North Street, with its department stores, banks, the market on Friday and Saturday, and services like the library or fire station is one of the main streets, the other being High Street, a pretty pedestrian street topped by the great clock that has become the emblem of the town. The main street, High Street, is pedestrianized. What is surprising is that at the bottom of the street, you can see the countryside and the hills of Surrey. 30 minutes from London, it is one of the most expensive towns in the provinces.
