Guayadeque Ravine

El barranco de Guayadeque es probablemente uno de los mas bonitos de Gran Canaria y uno de los puntos más famosos de la isla. Se puede alcanzar en coche desde el este (desde Agüimes e Ingenio) hasta llegar a su parte central donde se acaba la carretera o se puede comenzar desde su parte superior justo tras la caldera de los Marteles. Este segundo recorrido, el que hicimos nosotros, es de una extraordinaria belleza y al hacerse caminando es mucho menos turístico y tremendamente agradable. Lo más interesante es la enorme diversidad vegetal que tiene. Es un sendero sencillo aunque en algunas partes la gravilla obliga a caminar con cuidado para no resbalar.

Podemos entras desde ingenio y desde Agüimes. Ideal entrar por el primer pueblo y salir por el segundo. Es muy sencillo llegar. Hay 4 restaurantes. Todos son cuevas y variedad de comida. Especialidad en carné cochino. Queso canario papas arrugadas. Vino del país. En el último restaurante encontrarás la especialidad de cochino a la sal. Madre mía que rico rico. Para chuparse los dedos. Jugoso y acompañado de ese vino ufffff. En el primer restaurante podemos visitar las casas cuevas, donde estás habitadas y te ofrecen entre otras cosas miel pura de abeja del lugar. Hay una pequeña zona recreativa donde pasar el día haciendo un asidero. También hay agua que viene desde su naciente lis 365 días del año. Una cosa hay que decir, no hay cobertura de móviles ni 4G ni wifi. Ideal para desconectar del mundo exterior. En época del almendro en flor la panorámica es espectacular. Que lo disfruten amigos nuberos.

sin duda el restaurante "el centro" no tiene duda para encontrarlo.. se come muy bien y muy muy barato. recomendaciones : queso semicurado, papas arrugas, tortilla de papas, y parrillada de carne... como postre algo imprescindible la mouse de moya! !!!!! fuimos 3 personas de buen comer y salimos a 11€

Hay tres restaurantes. El primero es el más barato y al que van más locales, el del medio aún mantiene público el local, aunque sube un poco de precio. El de arriba es el más turístico y la comida es tan buena como en los otros restaurantes, por lo que iría tan solo a verlo, no a comer, pues es el que tiene las cuevas más grandes y vistosas.
