Luis de las Heras Hidalgo
An old castle
This castile is located in the town of Los Baños Old Guard in El Ejido. It is a coastal battery built in the eighteenth century, on a rocky surface that rises to a low height near the Mediterranean Sea. There's a moat with a drawbridge, which had to be overcome to reach the main entrance of the castle. The quadrangular building was found inside a courtyard, with infantry and cavalry barracks, stables, a gunpowder store, and a chapel.
