Mouthwatering Chamorro (Pacific Islander) food here!
Looking for some authentic Chamorro food? Guahan Grill is the spot in Oceanside! I’m a huge fan of the red rice and chicken kelaguen, which are popular food choices in Pacific Islands like Guam and the Northern Mariana Islands. The kelaguen is shredded chicken that’s mixed with lemon, hot pepper, and green onions, so it’s got a little island tang and kick to it. The spam roll is pretty tasty as well. This place also has King Car, a popular lemon tea in the islands, for $2 a bottle. It’s a little pricey, but the taste is immensely refreshing.
The staff is nice, and the place has a simple and relaxing vibe with island music constantly in the background.
