Millions of colors
The Green Mountains are found in Vermont, USA. It's a state where Mother Nature reins supreme and where each changing seasons unveils a dramatic spectacle. If I had to pick one, though, I would definitely choose Autumn, during which the entire state is covered in a blanket of the most brilliant browns, yellows, reds, and purples. This natural spectacle attracts travelers from all over.
Vermont is also a hikers' paradise. It's the home of the Long Trail, the first large trail in the United States which also coincides with a stretch of the legendary Appalachian Trail. I hiked tons of mainly moderate (but no less beautiful) trails like Robert Frost, Texas Falls, and those in the area around Smugglers Notch. Vermont is also an ideal place to experience American small-town life...the kinds of places where everyone says hello, places like Stowe, Cornwall, Middlebury, Jefferson, and Brandon. You can also visit the Ben & Jerry's factory and try a cup of famous Green Mountain coffee.
