Great Cloister of Christ Convent

4 reviews of Great Cloister of Christ Convent

A Pearl

Excellent

The Cloister of Joao III, as it's also known, was subsequently modified in the mid-16th century by Diogo de Torralva, explaining why one of the Manueline windows is almost hidden by it, which is a real shame since it's a pearl trapped between two walls.
