A great option for less limitations
What made us choose this hotel to plan our honeymoon was what had the least amount of limitations within the all inclusive options, as the dinner being a la carte, but the main reason we picked it were the Mayan Suites. They are cabins arranged around an artificial lake. They have a big central hall, a bathroom with tub, outdoor shower, a terrace with hammocks and a canoe. Only 12 rooms in the establishment with these features so you have to reserve early. Also you can not miss the salt water pool. It's not special in itself, but the setting is lovely and has a sunshade and canopy beds. Another recommendation are the beachside dinners at Punta Emilia, but you have to reserve them a day in advance.
Romantic dinner by the ocean and with a natural view: the visit of raccoons who will come to your table. Another option to eat 24 hours are the two beach bars offering pasta, pizza, burgers, sandwiches, and of course drink. If you are someone who likes to eat at odd hours, you will love taking a beef sandwich at 3 in the morning. Another cool thing about the hotel is the SPA, which is completely free, all you have are by the massages and beauty treatments. You jacuzzis, saunas, steam baths, ... In short, I was one who thought that spending many days in a hotel like this was not worth it, in the end get sick, but I was there eight days and I regret not being able to stay longer. It is a great option.
