Grand L'Etang Interpretation Centre

At the entrance of Grand Etang National Park, adjacent to the beach, there is a colonial building built with wooden slats, which houses the park's interpretation center. Information panels explain the ecosystems of the environment and the flora and fauna that exist. It also explains the formation of a huge lake in the center (which happens to be the crater of a volcano) and you can get information on adventure activities and hiking trails. Next to the building there is a small market where they sell spices of all kinds (Granada is known as the Spice Island), and we had a chance to hear local impromptu
