Designed in the seventeenth century by André Le Notre, the Grand Canal is one of the most striking and impressive of the palace of Versailles. I love this body of water more than 1600 meters in length lined with neatly trimmed hedges, in small sailing boats (you can rent boats). The Grand Canal also offers a beautiful view of the castle. Freshness and quiet are guaranteed, ideal for a day of golf on its banks full of charm.
