One of the last great castles, with a biscuit factory and butterflies

At the western end of Pays de la Loire, in the shadows of the trees is this amazing stately structure of the High Middle Ages. It is one of the last great castles of the area and one of the most impressive thanks to the beauty of its architecture. Access to Goulaine Castle impresses everyone. Its unique entrance is decorated with an incredible garden with 2 coats of arms. Before it, the imposing white facade and roofs of blue crystals overshadow any other details. For the sweet tooth, this castle has a surprise: a museum dedicated to a biscuit factory. Get lost in vanilla biscuits, chocolates, coconut and champagne lounge, ladyfingers, glass jars ...

Hundreds of butterflies hovering over our heads released. Draw a path to our passage uneven shaped a happy environment, almost magical. His colorful calls attention amongst the lush greenery. Butterflies also have a mission here: to put a touch of color in the castle.
