Gondwana Rainforests
The Gondwana Rainforests of Australia are in the Central Rainforest Reserve East, which consists of eight separate areas covering more than 3,000 kilometers and are situated on the boundary between the Australian states of New South Wales and Queensland. Here, you can find beautiful landscapes of mountains, rainforests, rivers, streams, waterfalls and the most varied wildlife, including a large number of endangered species. Some of these mountainous areas were the result of the explosion of an ancient volcano, known as Mount Warning. For thousands of years, the areas that make up this region, were inhabited by natives who lived in the mountains.
