E' una delle più impressionanti dell'isola. Ci si arriva all'improvviso, dopo aver superato una stretta galleria che si percorre a senso alternato. La strada è solitamente trafficata perché la gola si trova sulla direttrice che conduce alla famosa spiaggia di Efalonissi. Verso la metà della gola si raggiunge la salita che conduce alla grotta di Aya Sofia, meta solitamente di escursioni organizzate.
