Goethe Institut

O Goethe Institut é o Instituto cultural alemão em Windhoek. O local é palco de shows, concertos e projeções de filmes. Também possui uma mediateca, biblioteca e um café / restaurante - Goethe Café - num pátio bastante tranquilo dentro do estabelecimento. Aos interessados pela língua alemã, ali também são dados cursos de alemão. Para os que não sabem, a Namibia foi uma colônia deste país europeu até 1920, e até hoje os traços dessa cultura são bastante fortes não apenas na arquitetura, mas também na culinária e na língua, que ainda é bastante falada no país.
