Breakfast in Geneva
I've had breakfast in many places on each trip I've taken to Geneva, and it hasn't been bad, even breakfast in Cornavin is fine, easily the best croissants I've had in my life. On my last trip I had breakfast in a little street stand isolated on a corner on the sidewalk without anything next door, clearly well situated!. It's small inside, has 3 or 4 tables. If you stay next to Cornavin station and and the breakfast isn't included, this place is highly recommended, delicious pastries and what I liked, a large cup of coffee with milk. Price? Normal, dont remember exactly what I paid, but it sure wasn't expensive because I'd remember.
It's just halfway in a straight line towards the lake (du Mont-Blanc bridge), opposite the Post Office, which is a monumental building and doesn't go unnoticed. The cafeteria "Glacier" is on the right hand side on the way down to the lake in the Rue du Mont-Blanc. In my opinion it's a good place to start the day and start kicking a city that is very "walkable", no need for a car. I've left a photo of the cafeteria to be more specific and I hope you enjoy it as much as I did. Patricia Léman
