Ginza Kyubey, Imperial Hotel Osaka

Kyubey è un po' un tempio del sushi a Tokyo. Ex stella Michelin (chissà poi perché l'han tolta, vista la qualità estrema) è popolarissimo sia fra i giapponesi, sia fra i turisti perché propone la possibilità di assaporare un sushi divino a un prezzo tutto sommato 'accessibile'. Il ristorante è disposto su più piani e comprende piani più lussuosi e riservati accessibili solo alle tante star che lo frequentano quando si trovano a Tokyo. La maggior parte dei clienti siederanno invece al sushi bar di sale meno intime ma ugualmente 'magiche'. A pranzo i menù partono da circa 11.000 yen (100 euro), mentre la sera raddoppiano. Aspettate a trasalire perché un pranzo così vale tutti quei soldi. Il cuoco vi presenterà il pesce e lo preparerà, boccone dopo boccone, davanti ai vostri occhi nel corso del pranzo, che non sarà breve ed estremamente abbondante. Alzarsi pieni da un pasto di sushi non è facile! Le prenotazioni sono accettate a pranzo solo per le 11,30 poi ci si segna in ordine di arrivo. Le attese possono essere anche lunghe. Ma, ripeto, questo ristorante lo merita.

Kyubey is a bit 'a temple of sushi in Tokyo. Wait a wince because a lunch so worth all that money. The cook will present the fish and prepare it, bite after bite, right before your eyes in the room, you will not be short and extremely abundant. Getting up from a full sushi meal is not easy! Reservations are accepted for lunch only for 11.30 then there are marks in order of arrival. The expectations may be too long. But then again, this restaurant deserves it.
