4 reviews of Giants’ Tomb (Coddu Vecchiu)

Enormous pillars

These tombs date back to between 1600 and 1800 BC. They’re made of enormous pillars (thus the name) assembled in such a way that corridors are created between them. The highest corridor is 4ft. high and has a 14-meter long interior chamber. At the center of these large graves, there is usually a room with a pillar in its center. There are several near Luogosanto, though the most spectacular is Li Longh. It’s a really interesting visit.

Tomba Di Giganti Coddu Ecchju

Among attractive Sardinian vineyards lies this rather interesting Tomb of the Giants. Its name comes from the popular tradition to be a typology of mass grave nuragica characteristic of civilization. It is a spectacular place, and I recommend that you go for a visit.
