Imagine uma reentrância "esculpida" pelo vento em uma imensa parede de pedra. E essa reentrância forma uma espécie de "cone", em que as pesadas paredes de pedra dão a acústica perfeita, capaz de fazer inveja a muito sistema de "surround sound" por aí...
É assim a Garganta do Diabo, também conhecida como "Anfiteatro". O segundo nome, bem mais poético, foi dado pela acústica do lugar, comprovada pelos visitantes com a ajuda de uma banda de músicos, que tocam instrumentos típicos, cujo som parece se propagar de forma mágica.
