Great backpacker hotel
Although it seems hard to believe, there are accommodations in Siem Reap, the town closest to the World Heritage Site Angkor Wat complex, for only 1.00€! Well, to be fair in that case you'll be staying on the roof of a log cabin, but you can get a room at Garden Village Angkor for just 5.00€. The place is very nice, with beautiful gardens and a terrace bar, plus rental service for bikes and motorcycles, the most common means of transportation for backpackers looking to explore Angkor.
